Are you sure that your computer's issue is fatal? If its a desktop they can be fixed by replacing a component instead of the whole system. That is unless its an old machine and its the motherboard thats gone. (Happened to me last year :( )
Having spent the whole of yesterday morning trying to give the thing mouth-to-mouth, I can confirm that yes, the condition was fatal, and I had to turn off the life support at lunchtime.
