As it happens, a dirt-cheap bike isn't the only thing we've bought online recently. Lisa ordered a personalised swimming bag for Amelie last week, and it arrived yesterday morning...
The question is whether we should order another one, or just change her name by deed poll.
Probably quicker to change her name - except that we've all spent 4 years learning to spell the old one.

ReplyDeleteWith your charm, and as it is their mistake, I'm sure you could persuade them to send a replacement (assuming you spelled Amelie's name correctly in the first place!)
ReplyDeleteAs a trained touch-typist, Lisa's claiming it wasn't her mistake. So yes, they've now agreed to send a replacement. It'll probably say Amelia.
